      General Info
      Dr. Eric Oxley received his undergraduate degree from Milligan University in Johnson City, Tennessee, and received his dental degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. After dental school, he began his dental career with the U.S. Navy Dental Corps at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland. Working alongside the greatest educators in Navy Medicine, Dr. Oxley completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. He then reported to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, to continue his service with the Dental Corps. During that time, Dr. Oxley served as a clinical director and a mentor for residents and dental hygiene students in addition to his day-to-day obligations to his patients. Dr. Oxley also worked part-time in the private sector to prepare for his next step: managing his own practice. Dr. Oxley continuously works to hone his practice through numerous continuing education courses and is a self-identified dental nerd. For example, he completed over 500 hours of continuing education and passed a comprehensive exam to become a certified fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Oxley is currently pursuing training to place implants for his patients. Dr. Oxley seeks out opportunities to enhance his patients' quality of care in terms of cosmetic dentistry and restoring and maintaining functional oral health. Dr. Oxley's practice believes it is important to stay up-to-date with technological advances in the field to better meet patients' needs and deliver the highest quality available. Dr. Oxley is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. When he isn’t at work, Eric is enjoying time with his wife, son, and two dogs. He also enjoys exercise, the great eastern North Carolina outdoors, and local community involvement.
