Velvac designs and manufactures mirror assemblies, upgrade kits, vacuum products, electrical products and special accessories for trucks, recreational and specialty vehicles. Its more than 3,000 products include fuel caps, fuel tank valves, air brake valves, air cylinders, terminals, sockets, plugs, flashers, hose, fittings, clamps and brake boosters. The company was established in 1934 as the Vacuum Power Equipment Company. In 1940, its corporate name was changed to Velvac to encompass its Velvet Vacuum Brakes brand. The company has headquarters in New Berlin, Wis.; an assembly facility in Reynoso, Mexico; and warehouse locations in Los Angeles, Dallas and Toronto.
