After calling up a dozen or so glass dealers in the Valley for estimates on two protective glass desktops, I ended up going with Glass Plus because they had the lowest price. When I went there to pick up the glass, I informed the owner of how good his prices were compared to the competition. He told me that since he really doesn't have much overhead (I believe he owns the site and does all the work himself), he can keep his prices low. Anyway, the desktops were well made and to the dimensions I gave him. I did have to bring my own protective materials since I was picking up the glass myself, but that was not big deal considering the money I saved--an extra soft blanket did the trick. I did notice that he had a vehicle for transporting glass in his parking lot, so if you need the glass delivered, he can do it without issue.
