If I want overpriced, unreliable, shady and probably dishonest I'd go to this little guy.
If you want to trust the person, and the work, go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

This place is a total scam. They initially charged my son $546 to tow his VW Jetta less than two miles to our house after he slid on ice and damaged one of his wheels. After loading the car onto the truck, the driver said they had to wait for a sheriff, holding my son and his car hostage while running up the tow bill for an extra 30 minutes. No sheriff ever came (I doubt they even called) and they eventually just left. On the drive back, the driver complained about the fact that his truck doesn't have a functioning speedometer or tachometer, and he had to change gears "by ear". Once they got to our house the driver miscalculated the time on the invoice, charging him for 2 hours total even though the hours listed only added up to 1.5 hours, resulting in an additional $150 added to the total. The driver also miscalculated the sales tax and even misspelled the name of the city where he operates (Everett)...

I spoke with a manager (Joe) and then the owner (Gene) this afternoon, and they have adjusted the charge to $262.50 plus tax (their minimum), which was appreciated but still way too high for a standard tow less than 2 miles. Their excuse was that the driver is new and not everyone is good with numbers and their rate is listed with the State of Washington...

Shame on you Whiteside Towing for attempting to take advantage of a helpless kid and charge him double what you should have (which was already a ridiculous rate), a kid who had already been waiting over four hours for tow service in the cold and just wanted to get himself and his car safely home after an accident.

Shame on you for risking the safety of my child and your driver by operating a commercial vehicle without functioning dashboard controls while driving back to our house on dangerous icy roads.

I would recommend only calling Whiteside Towing if you like being overcharged and dealing with unethical business practices.
