I have used Thunder Movers about 10 times in the past 3 years. They are predictably on time, careful with the items being moved, respectful of the people in the homes entered, aware of time being spent (sometimes even running rather than walking), and I have referred them to friends and family and will again. Some things they DON'T do: they don't waste time on cell phones or joking around or taking unnecessary breaks. Dottie has been terrific to work with. Amazing, professional team. Actually very down to earth, real, humans. Yes, great at what they do; yet, real at the same time. Pleasant, clean, efficient. You will like what you see and the service you receive -- they guarantee it! Accredited with the BBB. And, Super Service Award winners 3 years in a row, very cool. Community supporters too.
New to town, first thing, found great movers. Sorry for the dude comment. They are professionals. Yet, they were fun to work with and made my day much better than it could have been. The guys, Mychal and Joey, did an awesome job, they remained in good spirits despite my many demands -- put together my bed, set up my furniture and made me feel at home (while they were still there -- really I didn't feel weird having them, or unsafe, they were just ... professional and real). I'm excited to be here and great full to have gotten off on the right foot. Thank you Thunder Movers for your help and security.
No way was I able to move myself at this time in my life. I was relieved
to find and use Thunder Movers. Due to my medical situation there was so much I could not do. Everyone with the company was kind and helpful. They showed respect to me and with handling my things. I will not hesitate to recommend them.
I used thunder movers to move from my apartment to my house. They sent 2 guys and a truck. The lead guy was quite lazy and slow. He took up time doing his 'personal' things during the move. He was not very careful either in moving fragile content. He actually broke one of my glasses. The other guy was very good and was more professional than this lead guy. ANyways, this team did take more time and the work was not quite upto the mark. I think I ended up paying more for less. While I wont call them as bad movers, they are certainly not the best. I am guessing there must be some better mover out there! I would certainly not call them for my next move or recommend them to anyone either.
I am sorry to hear you had a less than exceptional experience. I would like very much for you to call so that we can make this right with you. We rely on feedback but we need some specifics if we are able to continue our usually stellar service. Please give the office a call, ask for Dottie, and let's talk about this experience. I can't even express how top notch Thunder Movers are. Dottie (one of the co-owners) came out and did a free estimate, and then the move itself was awesome. They were on time, careful, professional, nice and personally invested. The owner was on site for the entire move, and it is clear that the two owners take personal pride in what they do and making sure it goes well. I used them for a local move, and when I emailed them to find out who they would recommend for a cross country move a year later, they said they were now doing cross country moves! Yay, me! Not only are they going to give me a bid for them to move us, but she is also going to give me recommendations for a big, reputable moving company so I can get a comparison bid. Truly, these guys are the absolute BEST.

I would recommend Thunder Movers to everyone. All of the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Dottie is pleasant and helpful, on the phone, when setting up my moving appointment. I knew as soon as the call was over, I had made the right choice. Then on moving day, working with Nick and Mychal was a joy. They immediately got to work. They treated my stuff as if it were their own and were always mindful of their time. They worked effectively and efficiently. I will definitely call them again in the future.

I was very lucky to find and use this company for moving. Got the number from Yellowpages like I did with a couple of others, but the interest they showed me since I called Dottie on the phone and the details she asked me about my move, made me know that they were professionals. and actually they proved to be when they came over to do the move, they were swift, very effective, protected all my new furniture that I had bought a month before and @ my new home they were very keen in organizing everything and did not leave a piece of paper behind. In my opinion this was THE perfect move I have ever made. I would recommend them to everyone I know.
