Very disappointed with staff. VERY prejudice against Hispanics. Our stay was 3 nights and I wish I had never made it for 1 night. We really felt it as soon as we drove into valet. We had already been waiting for staff to attend to us and of course another couple (white) drove in after us and was assisted with the valet needs and bell service. Strike 1, then we register, and low in behold they never tell us when we registered the room that was requested was not available. Asked for 2 Queens and received 1 King - didn't get the surprise until we walked into the room. (2 adults and 1 child) Strike 2 - Staff being white rarely greeted us or made us feel welcome in any way. Best part in checking out, clerk asks how was our stay and I said "NOT GOOD", told her exactly how we felt and you would think she would have called her manager. Nope, she couldn't get us out the door fast enough. One thing I have to say on a positive note - at the Marisol Restaurant we had the best service from Executive Chef Jose Garcia. Now there we would come back just to see him. By the way we did checked out the Resort next door called the Dolphin Inn - WOW!! what a difference in service there. We definitely would stay there just based on the welcome we received with out even having a reservation. MOST PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO SIT AND EXPRESS THEIR EXPERIENCES WITH BUSINESS, WELL I DO, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO MY FAMILY AND MY MONEY.
