TCR Rooter was recommended to me for a septic line problem. I made an appointment, and they showed up promptly. I was hoping they would be able to deal with roots clogging the septic drain line. The previous day, I hired a backhoe operator to help locate my septic tank and expose the pipes. TCR Rooter determined that about 40 feet of pipe needed to be replaced. Knowing I was in a time crunch because the septic was holding up the sale of this property, they quickly gave me a quote. For $4000. This simple job, with low materials costs and a few hours of labor, would have been expensive at 25% of that. My buyers were on site, angry and threatening to walk. So I was forced to pay $4000. This was piracy, pure and simple. TCR knew I was in a bind and took shameless advantage. They are vicious predators.
