I went for an oil change based on an advertised special. I called and told the receptionist I wanted to take advantage of the special and told her the year and brand of my car. I also handed in the flyer when I arrived for my appointment and was assured that everything was included. Their special specified a tire rotation with an oil change which I wanted.



I showed up promptly at 9 am for my appointment. After an hour's wait my car was finally attended to, then I was slapped with a bill 75% more than the advertised special. When I objected, Sandra, the owner, offered a discount on my next oil change as refunding me would cost them $35 she said. If doing business means gouging your customers, I certainly won't be returning. I know many mechanics who charge less for an oil change and tire rotation and certainly don't claim it costs them an arm and a leg to do a refund -nobody would do refunds if it cost that much. Thanks for a terrible experience. Never going back.

This last week was my first time coming here. I found everyone there to be very friendly and easy to talk to. I came for a just an oil change because the prices were great. They did it quickly and I was on my way in no time. I will be using them again in the future.

I dealt with Donald at Surgical Auto Repair for engine repairs to my Altima. We changed the timing belt and did a thorough tune up and oil change, checked the brakes and rotors. I felt the service was great and cost reasonable and fair.

A few weeks ago I was at my wits end, after going to four different shops and my problem was not solved and them charging me for work that was not fixed. I found Surgical Auto Repair from another shop who was honest to tell me that they could not fix the problem. I was very skeptical but I called and made an appointment, this was the best call I ever made. I explained my dilemma to the mechanic, my car kept stalling anytime that my foot was not on the accelerator. He listened attentively to what I was saying and did not make me feel stupid. I asked him what the diagnostic fee would be, he said before he used the computer he is going to search for the problem the "old fashioned" way by checking under the hood and looking at the car. He did his job diligently and thoroughly, explaining things to me as he went along. He finally identified the problem as a $10.27 ripped hose. He did not even charge me a diagnostic fee. With the experience, integrity, and honesty you will need nothing more to keep the loyalty of your customers forever. Thank you so much.

Being a female I am used to getting ripped of by auto mechanics. This is sad but true. I was referred to Surgical Auto Repairs by another shop that was fortunately honest enough to tell me they could not fix my car. I have finally found a shop that will not rip me off. They were honest, patient and their professionalism went beyond anything that I could expect. Surgical gave me a detailed explanation about the service and price for my car. I recommend considering using Surgical Auto Repair for mechanical, diagnostic or regular service maintenance work to be done on your vehicle. This sh op is definitely one of the best, if not THE BEST that I have ever used. It is all too often that one hears about mechanics or auto repair dealers that specialize in over-charging and under-fixing the customer's problem. This shop is totally the opposite, performing exactly what is needed to fix the problem, without over-charging their customers. Donald has been servicing my Volkswagen Jetta & Lexus for several year and I never had to take any of the two vehicles back to him because the work was not done properly. Donald and his staff take great pride in their work. Thank you for the great job you did in replacing the motor in my 03 Volkswagon Passat, the car runs great. I follow your advise and I am very happy with the result. Thank you for reviewing the bill from the other shop that my shop was in, Sandra wrote a great letter to the owner on my behalf. The letter worked! I was refunded just about all the money they charged me and my car wasn't fixed. So I didn't have to take them to court.
