Southern Crescent Behavioral Health System has two locations south of Atlanta. Anchor Hospital of Southern Crescent Behavioral Health System is a Joint Commission accredited emergency receiving facility that has been serving Georgia since 1986. Anchor Hospital is a psychiatric and substance abuse facility treating individuals in behavioral or chemical dependency crisis. Crescent Pines of Southern Crescent Behavioral Health System opened in January 2010 to provide psychiatric and addictive disease services for children, adolescents and adults. Individualized treatment is offered by a multidisciplinary team of licensed medical and mental health professionals including board certified psychiatrists and addictionologists.
