This is Dr. Pollick responding to the review posted on 2/23/2015. Thank you for your kind review. I am glad that you are comfortable now and that your fears were allayed by my staff who certainly do care about you as I do. We certainly appreciate the referrals and thank you for the compliments. We love them! All the Best.

front desk was unhelpful and rude. I am a dental office and had to call for an elderly patient that was infected at the hospital and in need of an oral surgeon who takes Medicaid and he basicly said no when I was going to give her their number.

Staff is super friendly and caring. I've had two teeth pulled and an implant done by Dr. Pollick and she was very caring and made me feel very comfortable. Her work and follow-up care is amazing. I have had several teeth pulled elsewhere in the past, and Dr. Pollick was by far the best.

I was very nervous going to the Dentist since this was my first tooth to be removed. But everyone from the receptionist to the Doctor was very reassuring. Dr. Pollick was very professional and explained in detail what was going to be done. The tooth was removed with no pain or problem and I also received a call that evening from the office to make sure I was ok. I was so pleased and confident that I am having Dr. Pollick do an Implant. I highly recommend this Dentist.

I went to see this doctor yesterday 03062009, she was caring, gentle and very understanding. She removed 9 teeth on me, I had no pain and left very happy. I highly recommend her. My wife was also treated by her and had 4 teeth removed. We loved her staff and the charges were very fair.

DETAILS

Removal of Impact Wisdom

General Info
Wisdom teeth are the third and final set of molars that most people get in their late teens or early twenties. Sometimes these teeth can be a valuable asset to the mouth when healthy and properly aligned, but more often, they are misaligned and require removal. An oral and maxillofacial surgeon is a regional specialist surgeon treating the entire craniomaxillofacial complex: anatomical area of the mouth, jaws, face, skull, as well as associated structures. What are "impacted wisdom teeth?" In dental terminology an "impacted" tooth refers to a tooth that has failed to emerge fully into its expected position. This failure to erupt properly might occur because there is not enough room in the person's jaw to accommodate the tooth, or because the angulation of the tooth is improper. Dental implants are artificial tooth replacements that are used to counter tooth loss. The procedure is categorized as a form of prosthetic (artificial replacement) dentistry, though it also falls into the category of cosmetic dentistry as well. Biopsy (in Greek: ß??? life and??? look/appearance) is a medical test involving the removal of cells or tissues for examination. It is the removal of tissue from a living subject to determine the presence or extent of a disease. The term "jaw fracture" usually refers to fracture of the lower jaw (mandible). A fractured jaw causes pain and usually changes the way the teeth fit together.
