Hired Vern Shannon to do a gravel driveway for me and although he said gravel was not his specialty it was not a problem! Drive had lots of low spots n told him I would like to have it graded ( which anyone in the industry would know, scratch the entire surface Down to the lowest spot and spread the excess back over evenly!) Not by no means am I saying I am an expert but that is what I hired this guy for! After calling him back out to look at the drive after a strong rain and all the puddles that formed in my drive all he had to say was,(everyone's idea of grading gravel is different!) I paid this guy almost 2000$ to do nothing but lay some gravel and not fix my drive like he said he could! Wish I could show the pictures of before and two weeks later! Needless to say he never made it right and tried to degrade me because I had an attitude on the phone for getting scammed out of 1800$! This is a guy I would never recommend!
