SendMaui was founded in 1986 as a family business with the basic plan of growing very unique and well-cared-for, exotic, tropical Hawaiian flowers on the island of Maui. Our intention was to bring smiles to the faces of our customers, and to the faces of their families, friends, and business associates. To enhance our offerings of the beautiful tropical flower, we aligned ourselves with a like-minded Protea farm. Our flowers grow in the perfect environment. Our exotic tropical farm receives over 120 inches of rainfall each year. It is located in a beautiful, rural community on the east side of Maui. Our Protea farm is located in the up-country area of Maui, high up overlooking the Pacific Ocean, where it is dry and cool. We fresh cut flowers for your order and ship each flower bouquet via Federal Express. Our marketing arm is located in California, which provides you workable office hours. Once you have placed your order, it is immediately forwarded to the farm. The fresh flowers are hand picked, washed, and carefully packed in a way to assure their freshness. FedEx picks up from our farms daily and drives directly to the airport. Your gift box is flown out that day for the quickest possible delivery. We deliver all over the mainland USA in two days, so the flowers always arrive in primo condition. In 1994, SendMaui went where very few, if any, tropical flower companies had ever gone before: the World Wide Web.
