If you are needing a safe place to go don't go to the denver safehouse. I'm not saying this because I was thrown out or anything, I'm saying this because you won't get your needs met. None of the people that work there have ever been in a domestic violence situation for starters and the house needs major renovations and repairs and oh yes let's not forget the bugs!!!! How they pass a code and health inspection is beyond me. I'm not sure why people don't report these things because you can do it anonymously.
