Only good things to say bout Marty and spin

I have used the services of S&K for years. My most recent experience was this. I had to have a diagnostic service, took my Pontiac to the dealership in Monroe. They ran the diagnostic, said I need a new ERG(?) connector which I let them do, silly me. My stabilititrac light was on and this concerned me. I was told this would fix the problem. Not so, within 10 minutes all lights were back on. Took it back, was told I might need a new StabilTrac system to the tune of a thousand bucks. Felt uneasy, went home got online with JusAnswer, gave them the codes, told it was ERG, took it to Spin's, Corbin put the diagnostic on the car, that's what it read, had it replaced ... two weeks NO PROBLEM. Now I cannot help but wonder .... WOW ... honesty and service haven't died !

I had the same brake scenario as described by JD-1 from Matthews. I was told by another garage in Waxhaw I needed pads and rotars "all the way around" for $750. Drove it to S&K for a second opinion and they found the rear rotars and pads to be good with only one front rotar/pad requiring replacement and the other turned (with pad installed). They did the job for less than $300. Honest guys at S&K that do good work.

I have used this small local company for years. The best place in the Waxhaw area for a quick NC inspection. Don't think I've ever waited for over 30 minutes, usually out in 15 depending on workload. Friendly, local folks remind me of the old neighborhood shops of yesteryear. Thanks Spin. Your people do a great job!

I was told that I need a full break job on my 2000 Oldsmobil Alero by several other brake companies telling me that we needed rotors and break pads and possibly even calipers, with prices from other companies being as high as $800.00. S & K told me that the rotars did not need to be replaced and the calipers were fine, and fixed my car for 345.00. After having multiple brake issues with this car and having it fixed by several companies S & K is the first company to fix the problem correctly. Thanks S & K
