      Established in 1957, Norwalk City Social Service Center is a department of the city of Norwalk. Located in Norwalk, Calif., the department offers a range of emergency and support services to residents in crisis situation. It also provides children's dental program to school children, belonging to the kindergarten through grade 12. Additionally, the department provides mediation and conciliation services to the people who reside primarily in Norwalk and Los Angeles County. It also provides alcohol/drug rehabilitation, counseling and employment assistance.
