One day after starting a load of clothes in the dryer, I caught a wiff of something burning! I looked at my dryer a bit closer and found a tremendous amount of lint that had gathered everywhere behind my dryer!!! I dont do alot of laundry but my family of 4 does. We have only lived here going on 2 years now and some how the dryer venting system had failed and lint was everywhere. There was also a slight smell of something burning in the laundry room every time I passed by it! I guess the family just didnt bother to notice, Its like the old saying, if it works dont fix it! This could have been disasterous to say the least!!! I Remembered driving one day and seeing this van rolling down the road with all this advertisment on it, I really didnt give it much thought but did remember seeing a portion of the ad saying Dryer vent cleaning, prevent dryer vent fires, Which I admit I thought was just hipe...... NOT ANY MORE! I knew the name of the company North Star, found the # called and after he heard my ordeal, The owner of Northstar Karl was here the very next day, but not before he made sure we would not use the dryer again until he inspected it. He was here bright and early the very next day! I thought he was going to charge me an arm and leg but His prices were very fair considering the amount of work he had done. He kept me informed of his progress and I could not believe the tremendous amount of lint he had collected, I mean buckets full!

Found Northstar through a friend's recommendation and I would say they are the most affordable around. Needed to have a dryer vent cleaned and it was almost unbelievable how much lint was removed. Please note that not having dryer vents cleaned somewhat regularly is a fire hazard. Karl, the owner, was on time, cleaned the vent line, fixed the vent lines that were kinked, and kept everything extremely clean. What more could you ask for!
