Monta Loma Elementary School enrolls more than 475 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes reading, language arts, writing, science, social studies and mathematics. The school features a parent- teacher association that supports various fundraising events and activities, as well as organizes meetings. Monta Loma Elementary School employs a guidance counselor, psychologist, technology coordinator, media specialist, physical trainer and teachers. The school offers a variety of menu items for lunch. In addition, it conducts several special education sessions.
