Founded in 1969, Mental Health Services, also known as MHS, is a private, nonprofit health care organization that provides treatment and rehabilitative services and serves the Clark and Madison counties in Ohio. It offers arrange of services for individuals with emotional struggles, substance abuse and dependency, behavioral difficulties, severe mental illness and journey of recovery. The organization provides behavioral health care services related to depression, anxiety, grief, anger management, phobias, post-traumatic stress, schizophrenia and addictive behaviors. Mental Health Services provides a 16-bed adult psychiatric unit that offers acute short-term care services. It also offers individual, family and group therapy, as well as psychiatric assessment and pharmacological management services. Mental Health Services maintains one of its locations in London, Ohio.
