I was in Kitty Hawk on vacation and my fuel pump went out. The hotel staff recommended these guys. They worked on my car for an hour and a half and charged me for 3 hours of labor. They wouldn't let me see the invoice for the new fuel pump when it arrived because they didn't want me to know how much their mark up on the part was. It was the wrong part. The mechanic stood around, smoked cigarettes and glared at me for an hour while the correct part was being delivered. Apparently they charged me labor time for this. This is extremely unprofessional. My gas guage reads incorrectly now. To add insult to injury they charged me for a fuel filter. My vehicle does not have a fuel filter. I called to voice my concerns to Rex and he told me "that they did me a favor and I should learn to be greatful" They did refund me for the cost of the fuel filter but it doesn't make up for their unethical business practices and the damage they did to my car. They took advantage of me because I was a tourist. They are dishonest, rude, and unskilled. Do not take your vehicle here.
