      General Info
      Ian started painting in 1986 with a commercial painting contractor in Twinsburg, Ohio. After much training, and acquiring the skills learned from the experts, Ian was ready to start his own painting business. In 1987, Ian moved to Wayne County, Ohio and continued to perfect his craft with local painters. It was here that he met and married Staci Bishop, of Orrville. In the early 90's Ian had earned a solid customer base, enoughto start his own professional painting business, Lohrenz Painting. For the past 23 years, living in Dalton, Ian and Staci raised a family while Lohrenz Painting continued to grow. From Ian's beginning of specializing in mostly residential interiors he has since expanded to exterior work, as well as, commercial work for local companies. Such companies as, Wayne-Dalton Corporation, Maibach Ford, and Douglas Insurance. It didn't take long for word to get around, of Ian's reliability, efficiency and professionalism. Ian's customers trust him enough to refer him to their friends and families. Ian is willing to travel to you! He not only covers Wayne County, but, Summit, Medina, Stark and Holmes Counties, to name a few. Ian prides himself on the quality of work he provides with not only painting, but also, wallpapering and all types of paint applications. Ian is 'Going Green' and moving the company into the future with a new name and website. Lohrenz Painting is now, Ian the Paint Man! Ian knows the importance of recycling. All paint thinners and paint cans are recycled.
