My graduate degrees are in rehabilitation counseling/administration. I have been a clinical counselor for over 35 years in a variety of settings. Specialty areas include mental health issues such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders and personality disorders. Other specialty areas include counseling individuals with substance use disorders, physical and medical disabilities, anger management problems. women's issues, gerontological concerns. I use a range of approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy and reality therapy, depending on the client's needs. I am a member of the American Counseling Association. I have been enpaneled by the major insurance carriers and EAP programs. I have participated in Disaster Mental Health Training with the American Red Cross.
