John grew up in Southampton, Long Island, New York with his grand parents showing him how important it was to build something that would last a lifetime. In the old English tradition of his grandfathers, they would teach different skills each year from just carrying the wood or stones to building something that you would be proud of. Grand dad said; build it with pride and passion and it will pay off. Well, it has all of these years and I'm sure many more to come.
