Knowledgeable, professional and friendly, the entire staff wants to take the stress out of getting your trees pruned, removed and stump grinding needs. We're here to help with staff ready to meet you on your schedule, including most evenings and Saturdays. Our services include: * Tree Pruning (Includes removal of related debris.) * Tree Removal (Includes removal of related debris and leaving wood in 16" to 18" rounds.) *"Green Stump Grinding" (We never use chemicals to treat the ground after the stump grinding, so you can re-plant the same day! Grinding includes depths of up to 18" and free utilities locate service.) Why grind to the depth of 18 inches? Here are three big reasons why: * Planting another tree in the same spot? By going down 18 inches, you can plant a new tree the very same day. If you're taking out a stump in the cities right-of-way, chances are they will require a replacement tree be installed anyway. Most cities have an 18 inch stump grind requirement for this reason. Owner Lorin Fielding with our Bandit Stump Grinder * Putting grass where the stump used to be? If you only go down slightly below the surface, eventually the remainder of the stump and roots will rot out and you'll be left with a noticeable depression in your replanted yard, causing you to again replant the grass. * Laying cement over the ground out area? Many people put in RV pads or expand driveways and add space next to the house. If you only go down slightly below the surface, eventually the remainder of the stump and roots will rot out leaving an air pocket below your cement. One day you will drive over that area and the cement will crack. We'd rather not get that angry phone call because the stump wasn't fully ground out, which is another reason we grind down 18 inches.
