When it is 100 degrees and the theme parks have made you sweat, go to Icebar! The vodka and the bar are 27 degrees and it takes away all the heat and stress of the day. If you have not tried whipped cream vodka then you are in for a treat.

What a lovely place! The staff were so friendly, the drinks were delicious, the atmosphere was both fun and snazzy. I had an absolute blast here.
The best thing about this place is that it has a great 'Anything Goes' attitude without ever coming off touristy. No matter who you are, you can feel right at home partying at Ice Bar. Forget the gimmick, just go and have a good time! Make sure you pre-order your tickets to get a nice discount.
For the negative reviews, I'll be honest, here - I'm betting the staff can spot whiners, drunken fratties and entitled, crabby tourists a mile off. The group I went with were not college chicks or The In Crowd, but we were excited to be there and they treated us awesomely. The manager was unbelievably cool and spent half an hour just talking to us about the bar and the sort of events they have there. I've NEVER been to a bar or club that was so laid back and inviting. The problem isn't with Ice Bar, folks.

Went to a party at the ice bar. It was for a birthday and they gave balloons and a VIP area to the group. Nice touch - although they declined to sing! The ice room has some very good carvings and the other bar is comfortable. We liked the light up tables and chairs, good music, too. The DJ was very good and everyone danced. I thought it was a bargain for a night out with something very different. We'll go again for party time.
Inside the ice bar in Orlando is ice carved by a master carver. It has ice walls and ice chairs and even an ice thrown that makes a great picture. they onlly serve vodka because it doesnt freeze, but it tastes totally different in the glass which is also ice, and recycled! Really, they just let them melt and water the plants, not use them again - so they say! Our first time there we got a warm cape, and then we got gloves, I think I'll take a heavier pair next time, my fingers got cold from the glass. They had a machine that had nitrogen to cool the drinks in the bar outside, and the bartender made us a drink with no ice, but still cold. That was cool. It was $15 to get in, we booked ahead, and very reasonable for drinks, about half what they are in the hotel we stayed at. only $8 for first and less for more. We liked the DJ who was playing, it was very nice in the lounge.
Went for the first time and we had an absolute ball at the Ice bar. The staff was very friendly and explained everything to us, they gave us these cute capes with fur hoods and put them on us, then gloves and a list of drinks we can get inside. The bartender told stories and jokes, the music was great, the other guests having fun. We warmed up in the outside bar, the fire bar, and had the best margarita in our lives. We are definately going back there again. GO its FUN

Purchased (non-refundable) tickets @ a very well know vendor in town on 2/12... it rained ... tickets were good until 4/13.
Tonight (2/13) we tried to go there... missed the 8:45pm 'entry' and hung out @ a bar next door until the next entry time: 9:30pm... there was a line.. our turn: only now we are told it's a private party... the manager comes and points to a non-existing sign outside... oh what happened to it. But we are leaving Orlando tomorrow am.. She says: There is nothing I can do..besides: I have not yet been paid by the ticket-outlet for your visit !@#$%
A good manager would have just let us get a short glimpse and a picture of the Room ... not her!
Don't go there!!! Save your$$$
tickets are between $15,- 20,- per person

The largest ice bar in the world was a very cool place - we loved the ice glasses and bought a snow globe with our picture in it to remind us of a great time we did not expect to find in Florida. Great staff is very upbeat and happy to tell stories (wonder if they are true) about the bar and how it got started. We recommend it!

We finally made it to Icebar after seeing it on the Travel Channel. It was great. There were lots of people there, probably because it was a Saturday night. We booked at the special price online, and I think it was worth the money to see all the carvings and drink out of an ice glass. We stayed in the regular part of the bar because the music was very good, the DJ was the best I have heard in Orlando. I used to not like vodka, but after tasting a few of the flavors I have to admit I am thinking of buying the butterscotch flavor, it was like nothing I have ever tasted before. The bartender said the ice glass makes it better, and that we can go online and find a mold to make our own. That would be cool.
Go to Ice bar, it is a very neat way to have a great night out and do something entirely different.

We were promised a ""chill time"" but when we go to this joint all we got was a bunch of lip from staff when we asked to see inside the place before we paid our hard earned cash. The place doesn't have any people in it; better to go down the street to the piano bar where there are fun things going on. Inside the icebar isn't worth the money when you can get a pitcher of beer next door for $5. Spend your cash somewhere else

I thought we were going to the ""coolest"" place in town and instead it was a non interesting place with very little going on; the icebar itself isn't much to look at and what is up with the floors... VERY DIRTY!! the ice looks like its melting too.

Ok so first of all it is $15 a person if you do it on line and they say you get a free drink after the Ice bar, which we did NOT get. You walk into the room after they give you your cape and gloves (wear a long sleeve shirt because it does NOT cover your whole arm). The room was SO small and they only serve ONE brand of a few flavors of vodka. Each ice drink is $10 and if you use the same cup it is $8 each after that, RIDICULOUS for the nasty vodka they served and how SMALL the ice bar was. There was NO ONE in there, if you are going to go bring A LOT of friends because you will sit there and wonder why would anyone want to come into this place. Yes, the ice glass was cool and it was cool it was all ice but the floor but if YOU REALLY WANT TO SEE SOMETHING AMAZING ALL IN ICE go see the ICE! show at the Gaylord Palms hotel over christmas, now THAT is amazing and worth the money and you get free hot chocolate after. Trust me it is amazing, the ice bar IS HORRIBLE!! not at ALL what we saw on their website!

My husband and I were looking for something to do after dinner for our 10th anniversary. We picked a restaurant on I-Drive, and I remembered the Icebar, so we thought that would be neat. First thing, when you walk through the door into the ""Chill Lounge"" the music in deaffeningly loud. I am probably older than their core demographic(34), but this music was just insane. So much so, that while the girl was attempting to scream above the music what the charge was, both myself and my husband were unable to understand her, she had to write down what she was trying to say. That is just nuts! When we finally were able to dictate that we had bought tickets online, we got our capes and gloves and they pushed us through the door. The Icebar itself was very cool, everything is made of ice but the floor, and it is neat, and thankfully the music was not turned on in there (though, due to the loudness you could hear it just fine, it was actually a normal volume) but it was dead. There was one other couple in there, they left after about 10 minutes, then a group of 4 ladies came in, took some pictures and they left. About that time, they turned the music on, and while it was not nearly as load as in the lounge, it was still blaring. Seemed alittle much when it was just the 2 of us. The bartender was very nice, but like I said, dead atmosphere. I can't say we were looking for a rave or crazy party, but a little atmosphere other than an empty room and top volume techno music. For the atmosphere we got, we could have stayed at the bar at our restaurant, at least there was normal volume music and people about. We arrived at about 10:45, and left at 11:30 on a Friday night, so it wasn't like we were there real early or anything. The lounge was also empty, I think we counted about 20 people total in the place. All in all, the ice factor was quite cool, but it was not what we expected, we thought there would be more of a club atmosphere, dancing, conversation, etc. If you are just going to look at cool ice sculpture, it was really neat, but if you are looking to meet someone, dance, chat, or hang out, go somewhere else.

My husband and I were in Orlando on our honeymoon and stopped into the Ice Bar just to check it out. We ended up staying for several hours and had a ball! Both owners were there and were super friendly...and the drinks were delicious! Love the whole concept...

We went to Icebar on New Years and LOVED it. The ice part was very cool, pun, and amazing with a light show and a HOT bartender. Kept us laughing and the drinks in the ice glass were totally great. Never tasted quite like that. I had lots of cheese and spinach dip, danced and had a ball.
We're going back every time we get to Orlando.
The honeymooner must have not had a good time before they got there?

My husband and I are in Orlando for our honeymoon, and we needed something fun to do for New Year's. The Ice Bar was cool, but everything else was not. We paid $55/person, and there was no where to sit, (well, unless you are a VIP) it took at least 15 minutes to get a drink from the bar, and when I asked the staff to hold my coat they said they couldn't. Also, they was supposed to be light food served--they served BBQ potato chips. For as classy as this place is trying to look, BBQ potato chips doesn't seem to fit that bill. Bottom line, we should have spent our money somewhere else.
