They had reasonably priced apartments so we rented from them and have been there 5 yesrs with no problems at all.

Great company to rent from! They have an online portal to report maintenance needs, and maintenance staff is also very quick and courteous. Highly recommend. They are also pet friendly with NO breed restrictions, which is really hard to find.

I only gave Helix 1 star because 'NO stars' is not an option. Heed the reviews that say Helix staff are not to be trusted. Amy Levin owns the company and despite making $2mil from WashU via a building sale, she WILL attempt to squeeze as much money as possible from YOU. Several people have taken Helix to court. I wish I'd googled case.net to look up Helix Realty - over 400 cases have been filed. I was trying to save money and I've paid a dear price. Live somewhere else!! You'll save on frustration, heartache, and headache I promise.

Lived in 2 of their buildings in the past 8 years and NEVER had a problem. Very nice with great maintenance!

Michelle is her name...she is a liar! From that experience, I now get EVERYTHING in writing. I verbally agreed to take the old carpeting in an apartment I stayed in for one year. When I left she kept my security deposit and tried to claim that I owed her $3,000 for new carpeting!!!!!! WORST PART: she put it on my credit report that I owed this and now my credit score reflects this for 7 years. She is EVIL!!!!!! I stayed at many apartments in Chicago.....I have never experienced low-lifes like HELIX, they are the worst landlords. pure evil lying and trying to scam money out of people.

Helix Realty is a group of legal slumlords who are millionaires that don't want to update their broken down properties. The building I lived in was full of mold and has plumbing issues. They are money hungry and will screw you over when you try to move. Do not and I repeat DO NOT RENT from Helix Realty Inc. I am being required to select a star but they don't deserve this 1 star yellowpages.com is making me select.
