Couldn't disagree with the previous review more. I have had 2 legal transactions with the Hance office in the past and am currently involved in selling property in Martinsville, though I am now living in New England. I have had terrific communication through Kelly Anderson with advise and attention at a level not often found today.
I may change to a 5 Star if the closing goes as smoothly as the preparation phase has.
Hance handled the real estate closing for my mother's estate on April 2011. I do not recommend him to anyone! I have worked with several real estate attorneys in the past and never have I experienced such a non-responsive, arrogant, condescending attorney as John P. Hance! There are definitely better real estate settlement agents in Martinsvlle, Henry County than him!
My family and I have dealt with John P. Hance for three months regarding my mother's estate and real estate closing! He turned a difficult situation for us into a horrible experience! He has been completely unresponsive, unprofessional, and condescending to us! I would highly recommend to anyone needing a real estate closing attorney to find someone other than John P. Hance in Martinsville, Henry County.
