My name is David Williams and I have been playing guitar since the age of 11, professionally since I was 18. I am still active in the Dallas music scene. I have played in numerous bands, in several states, including Seattle Wa, and Hollywood Ca during the 80?s and 90's. I have composed, and sold several songs to publishers, and right now I play guitar and manage a Dallas cover band called Uncovered. My passion, along with performing, is teaching. Students ages 10 and up are welcomed! These are 1 hour, one on one sessions for a flat $40! I do not price gouge and I offer one of the lowest rates you will find in the metroplex! This is structured criteria where a book is used and fundamentals are stressed. He or she will learn to read music, learn the chromatic scale, learn basic chords, and learn to apply technique that is taught. This is all done at the students pace. He or she must have their own guitar, electric or acoustic. I will also work with experienced guitar players if they are looking to just improve. I also offer sound engineering help if needed.
