General Info
We instruct permitted and licensed drivers of all skill levels in our vehicles, which are equipped for driver’s education training. We offer lessons M-Sat.; pick up & drop off is typically at the clien't's home/school/work, or a mutually agreed-upon location (if outside of our service area.) Our current rate for 2025 is $160 per 1.5-hour behind-the-wheel driving lesson. A $75 cancellation fee may be charged, if a client is unprepared for the appointment or cancels less than 48 hours before the appointment. (The full $160 is due if client cancels 2 hours or less before their appt,) Please call/text our office 502-254-1414 for more info & to schedule. Thank you!

Excellent school. Love that the instructors are young (but not too young), wholesome, and have a real interest in my child and her safety. They also seem to really enjoy what they do. Thank you Green Light.

We were very impressed with Green Light Driving School. My daughter's instructor, Amanda Powell is excellent. She helped my daughter gain the confidence she needed, gave her pointers that I didn't even know about, and is really a sweet person. We decided to take all 3 classes-the first one was 1 1/2 hrs. driving around town, the second one was 1 1/2 hours on the driver's course at Bowman Field, and the third was driving her to take her license test (allowing her to practice the course one more time-on a closed course). My daughter scored 98% on her test and is very happy. (I had called 3 driving schools and Green Light called me back and was the most friendly one that I spoke with.) Great job! -The Howells
Green Light is great. My daughter enjoyed her lessons so much she wanted more than the standard four. On the last lesson before the test, Bill will take you through the course they use at Bowman Field, teach you to parallel park (my daughter says it's a breeze), and tell you all the things to avoid. And then he will do it again right before the test (and he can help get the test scheduled at the earliest possible time your child is eligible).
