Mr. Glasgow and his foreman, Mr. Chavis, came out to assess a faulty roof coating job that we had done in December of 2010. He came at the request of one of the owners of Trident Construction Company, one (if not THE) primary commercial construction companies in the Charleston area. Mr. Glasgow has an excellent reputation among other roofers, having been the contractor responsible for re-roofing the State House (slate) and many historic Charleston homes. He was prompt and very adamant that the job we'd had performed was faulty and that, in his opinion, the roof was essentially "ruined"... that the lifting coating was causing pin hole rust under the Glidden/Devoe product. As we are not at the point of deciding what can be done with the roof, we have not solicited any proposals from Mr. Glasgow.. but we likely shall do so in the near future.
