Unfortunately a family member on the way home from hunting trip was stopped by sheriff deputy for light out on license plate about midnight. He had a hunting rifle in the case zipped shut. The rifle had a loaded clip in it so he was arrested and spent 4 days in jail. His truck and all belongings were picked up by Enterprise towing. They charged $250.00 for the tow and over $50.00 ea day for storage. Enterprise claims the cost is not about how far they tow. It is because they contract with all local law enforcement and can charge $250 ea time law enforcement calls them. I think its a scam to make it more difficult or impossible to get a vehicle out. After a week they threatened to place a lien on truck. The bill was close to $1000.00 due to tow, daily storage fees, and release fees. I know its a.business and they need to profit , but this is robbery in the worse way. Kick a man whle he's down. Shame on Enterprise Towing.
