Based in Iowa City, Iowa, Employment Systems is a part of Systems Unlimited. It is a nonprofit corporation serving people with disabilities and other physical and mental disabilities throughout eastern Iowa. It also provides supported employment, nonvocational and facility-based vocational services for adults with developmental disabilities. Its supported community employment adult day services provide individuals with disabilities a wide variety of jobs, including data entry operations, clerical assistants, maintenance and custodial, food service and assembly workers, day care center aides, mail clerks, certified nursing assistants, telemarketers, and warehouse and stocking associates. In addition, Employment Systems provides summer transitional employment and assessment programs for these individuals.
