      Dr. Young, (Advanced Board Certified Doctor of Optometry) and staff would like to welcome you to our optometric practice, Village Eye Care. We know how much your eye health, vision and appearance can mean to the quality of your life. All eye examinations are comprehensive using advanced optometric techniques resulting from 'spot on' refractions to checking for any ocular anomaly or disease. In addition, we provide adult & pediatric emergency and urgent care services. Dr. Young is best known for his superb diagnostic skills and discovering the root cause of vision issues. His quality patient care is exemplary, and is quoted, "Truly listening to what the patient has to say along with in-depth testing is the key to solving the patient's eye care problem".. Dr. Young and his staff bring an exceptional difference than most of today's practices. There is a "small-town feel" in our practice. We feel that you and your family are special, and should be treated as such. You won't have long waiting times, short face to face Doctor time, nor will you be rushed out when done. Most patients have been with us for years, and we know them by name...and how they're doing, and how the kids are doing... ;-)

      Dr. Young is Advanced Board Certified in Optometry, and in the treatment and management of Ocular Disease. He is certified in the use of Therapeutic and Diagnostic Medication, and is licensed to prescribe. He is also hospital trained (VA hospital), and trained in both, adult and pediatric care. Dr. Young is the recipient of a multitude of awards as well as Academic & Externship Honors which include, among others, BSK (BETA SIGMA KAPPA) Optometric Honors, Primary Care Externship Honors, Cornea & Contact Lens Externship Honors, the Milroy Optical Scholastic Scholarship, and winner of the International Opticianry Competition.
