Representing our HOA, I hired Jeff Davis to repair storm damage and replace the siding on our building with Hardie Plank -a $60,000 job. Things started out well. Jeff was professional, responsive, and did a great job with emergency repairs when we had water pouring into one of our units due to storm damage. The decision was made to replace the siding on the whole building. As the project progressed, it became very difficult to get Jeff and his crew to do what they said they were going to do. At the very end of the project, I provided Jeff with a "punch list" of items that were incomplete. The work was never completed, and cost our HOA another $1200 to have someone else finish. The primer showed through the paint on 6 decks and one wall of a breezeway and had to be repainted. Light fixtures and electrical outlets were not reinstalled. Paint spatter everywhere. Ruts in the grass from the lift. Windows were installed and the inside of them all left a mess. Very disappointing in the end.
