I am a disabled nurse who's second love in life is creating pieces of art with crafting. I've been crafting since I was about 8yrs old,that includes sewing. I was a seamstress in a uniform company for a time.I also love "scrap crafting" which is now called "recycled crafting"I hate to throw anything away as it can become something else with a little bit of TLC.I recycle glass,aluminum cans,tumble my own stones,search the beaches for shells,beach glass,&Cape May Diamonds.Since I craft to devert my attention from pain to creating something beautiful to wear,or hang on the wall. I'm now recycling bottles into small bowls & planters.I'm not trying to be a millionare,so my items are priced according to the cost of supplies.I do not charge for my time,I'm constantly told I should,but it helps me & I donate proceeds to local charities,foodbanks,animal shelters & I will do fund raising for anyone who needs an attraction to draw folks in.I make my own glass beads with propane flame & that's fun to watch,even more fun to do!
