      Charlecote, the antique business, is celebrating twenty-five years in the trade this coming fall with a special exhibition titled "Masterpieces of England, China, and Japan from 1700 BC through the 21st century "Our 337 East 55th Street showroom is located in the historical Crestwood Shopping district in Kansas City, Missouri. The Crestwood shops were built in the early 20's and still retain their original Georgian exteriors. Charlecote is located a few minutes from the famous Country Club Plaza and one mile from the Nelson-Atkins Museum. We may be reached by flying into Kansas City International Airport located thirty minutes from the gallery.You will find that our showrooms display some of the finest pieces of 18th century English Furniture in walnut, mahogany satinwood and rosewood, together with unusual and choice objects d'art. Charlecote is ever amazed at the skill ingenuity and creativity of the 18th and 19th century craftsmen. The variety of designs for both the practical and fanciful is limitless. The right time to buy antique furniture therefore must always be "now" as history has shown whatever you buy now will become rarer in time.
