Located in Porterville, Calif., the Central California Family Crisis Center is a multicultural, nonprofit charitable organization that provides a variety of services and programs for individuals and families. Established in 1977, the center serves women and families in crisis. It provides case management and support services, as well as organizes recreational activities. The center offers therapeutic services for struggling families. The Central California Family Crisis Center supports batterer, homeless and transitional housing programs. The center serves as a venue for conducting several training and counseling sessions on domestic violence. In addition, it provides legal advocacy, referral, information, social and volunteer services.
