I would like to warn everyone of unethical business practice and taking advantage of the innocent by extreme overcharging towing fees of cedar bluff towing in Knoxville,Tn.My son had a fender bender that resulted in his radiator leaking and had to be towed.He was in a parking lot easy to get to and not on the road .The officer was kind enough to help him (being a teenager and very afraid and upset of an accident) called in for a wrecker for him.This was at 9:00am in the morning,the car was towed 6 miles,11 min drive and dropped off at a dealer within 45 minutes.When we realized the repair would be about the worth of the car (2002 passport),we decided not to fix it so they said no problem but we have to pay the tow bill.What do you think,$70,$90,$100? No try $375.

They towed my nephews car approx. 10 miles on 1/14/14, they were called by Knox County Sheriff, I called my ins. co. the next morning and they said to get the car out of their lot A.S.A.P. that they had a reputation of overcharging insurance jobs. I called Them on 1/15/14 around 9 am and asked them to deliver the car to my body shop (approx. 5 miles from their office) and asked for my total bill, they said $495.00!! I said that was very high but to go ahead, I felt that I had NO choice. My body shop called me when they delivered car to inform me that the bill was $845.00!!! I immediately called Cedar Bluff Towing, they showed NO concern! State Farm was right, DO NOT USE CEDAR BLUFF TOWING!! I plan on taking this matter to the next level. Don't get me wrong, my ins. co. is going to pay the bill, but this is not fair business practices. I'm sure that they can not present 10 invoices for that same day for 2 tows less than 10 mi. ea. for $845.00!! Do not use Cedar Bluff Towing, YOU will be sorry!! NOTE: I rated them 1 star because their is no "0" available on this site!!

I chose one star because at least one is required. They deserve 0 stars. Absolutely a waste to work with. FORGET COSTUMER SERVICE!!! I was informed it would only take 45mins for a driver to show up with a rollback. 4hours later they showed up with a tow truck. I called multiple times asking where the driver was and i was given a lie each time, (they will be there in 30 mins). The lies were confirmed by the driver once they finally showed up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Large outfit that has become unattached to what its customers require and need. Worst part is they DONT CARE that you are stranded and know you have to pay. DO NOT USE!!!!!
