This company was under another name when we built our home in 2000. To this date, we have had leaking and rotting wood due to the design of the home outside. We cannot find out how the water is coming in the home on each side every time it rains. I would not recommend that Kenneth Sirmons do any work for you. I agree with seaon12's review. the contractors he hires are not very upstanding citizens. If you want a nice home, find another contractor. Not sure how Mr. Sirmons is still in business.

I wish there were an option for 0 stars. Not one thing has been easy with this company. If you want building your home to be an exciting and a pleasant experience, I suggest you find a different company. This company is anything but honest and professional and their customer service could use some improvement, to say the least. They are really good at making something seem really really good and it turn out to be quite the opposite. They are also not very good at estimating the time it will take to complete tasks. One week equals three. Three months equals six. They are also really good at lying by omission and then acting like you should have known and they didn't think they needed to tell you. There were literally thousands of dollars of hidden costs we ran into while our home was being built. We never heard from Camellia Homes about the building of our home. They never once called to say "Hey, just letting you know we will be working on the walls this week." or " We will be starting the floor tomorrow." The only time we found out about anything is when we called them. Another thing you might want to consider is looking into is the companies they outsource to build their homes. I mean, unless you don't mind finding beer cans and bottles all over the place when you check on the progress of your home. You also should be OK with hearing "We can't fix that." when they make a mistake you want it corrected. If they install the wrong vents in your bathroom, you will have to deal with it. If your lock on the front door is not straight, you will have to deal with it. If they ding up the trim around the floor while replacing your floor because they caused a leak, you will have to deal with it. If you do choose to go with this company, you will definitely want to make sure EVERYTHING looks perfect before you sign. We have been in our home over 3 months and we are STILL waiting for the things on our punch list to be fixed. Good luck on building your new home, and EXTRA good luck if you choose Camellia Homes.
