He also was able to determine why the engine might have seized up: because of a faulty repair by a previous mechanic. Don knew I just wanted to get back on the road, and it didn't sit right with him to charge me full price for a starter job when my car was ultimately toast. He cut the labor in half and was able to knock off another $100 because the car was going to the wreckers. That kind of service is hard to find. He worked hard to get my car operating again, and when there was nothing to be done, he helped me out financially. Integrity is in short supply in business, and Don has plenty of it.
