Who we are: Bettina Schewe has been working as a freelance translator, proofreader and editor for several translation agencies in the US, Germany and UK for more than 12 years. She is also a Project Manager to a selected team of translators. She is a Spanish native speaker, speaks English and German fluently, and translates from English and German into Spanish. She has been certified by the American Translators Association for translation from English into Spanish and is a Certified Pro Member of Proz.com. She also taught several courses and workshops on translation techniques and CAT tools, and was a speaker at several seminars (Proz.com). As a Project Manager, Bettina has been in chage of translation projects of more than 400,000 words, and managed up to 20 translators in one translation project with a 30 days deadline. Bettina believes in team work, and this is key to gaining the commitment from each and every colleague. Bettina does the translation work in her areas of specialization. She reassigns other jobs according to each translators skills and capabilities, so that you can be assured that the translator that does your job is proficient in the subject matter.
