In La Junta I've never had a problem with Bresnan Internet. It seems to me some customers might have other problems. I have a dd-wrt N modem and never feel like things have slowed down (I am not a gaming person, however). I think overall Bresnan is too expensive. Triple play (TV, phone, Internet) is $125 with no DVR after the sweetheart period expires). Their high charges after initial contract period penalize loyal customers so I am switching to DirectTV. Basically Bresnan seems like a fat-cat operation that will not really hustle to compete, and depend on people's inertia in not finding the best deal.

I have had Bresnan service for over two years. The service is now degraded to nothing. Internet is slow. Downloads take hours for a megabite download. Customer support is non-exsistant via internet and in person. I am now trying to find a better internet provider.

Even on the best days the internet is super slow, phone service is constantly dropping calls and has a lot of static. Not to mention by bill seems to be higher every month.

horrible latencyhappens almost nightly, my latency goes from 50 (daytime) to 150-250. high speed?cust service says it's because they have to route through other systems who give their own customers preference. I don't care what the reason is, for $55 a month for high speed I should get high speed. If the speed cuts in half the price should too.Held my tongue for 2 years, but I'm tired of it. Currently waiting 10 minutes for customer service to answer.

Only writing a review to caution other would be users of Bresnan. The service Bresnan offers in the Grand Junction, CO area is the fastest available (at least in my neighborhood), but speed isn't everything. After the recent 4 state wide outage Bresnan had back in August, my service has not been the same since. I identified a problem with one of Bresnan's servers in my area, so I called tech support. The gentleman helping me saw the exact same problem I saw, from his end!!! He said he would submit a ticket to the network engineers. Not hearing back from him for 2 weeks I called Bresnan to get an update. The agent had this to say "The info you submitted was done so using a router, we DO NOT support routers. Engineers will not look at anything unless it's a direct connect." I argued saying the previous agent saw the same things I saw, but because I used A ROUTER, my info was no good. Beware of Bresnan if you plan to use a router...who doesn't for crying out loud!!!
