This builder was and still is very difficult to work with especially if you don't agree with what he wants. I've seen a lot of his work and was impressed. However, I have been sorely disappointed with his finished product and his lack of integrity and refusal to fix his mistakes. The house is not even three years old and I have water leaking into at least one wall. The plaster is coming off and the carpet is wet. So far I've had two different window professionals here who have both expressed their doubt that the issue is with the windows themselves. One of brandons employees actually stated that he has no clue why it's leaking unless there was a problem with the "flashing " which was also the opinion of one of the other window professionals. Flashing is a builder function. Unfortunately, my builder insists that it is the windows and in any case his warranty is only a year. In other words it's not his problem and integrity is definitely not part of his work "ethic". BTW, the one year warranty is a state requirement not a gift from the builder. It's consumer beware in this area. Brandon Harris is not a builder you can trust to stand behind his work. But he's quick to hide behind the one year warranty. He'll hound you for payment (well over $300k) but is no where to be found when it's time to step up and do what's right.
