I made an appointment and got there as scheduled. I was the only customer there, yet the front desk guy looked bothered rather than excited to see a customer. I greeted him and told him of my appointment. He asked what kind of vehicle I had, and with out even looking at it, he said it would be over $200 for breaks due to the fact that he didn't have the appropiate tools for my vehicle. I have a 98 Honda Passport so it's not even a rare type of vehicle. I reminded the guy of the advertisement of $139 for all 4 wheels no matter what type of vehicle. He said that I can try one of their other locations. Their closest "other" location is about an 1 1/2 hour drive away. I just took my business elsewhere where they were happy to assist me and my vehicle. I would never recommend breaks for less in Charlotte. That employee has no idea what customer service is. Instead of helping me out he shut the door in my face. But where one door gets shut, another one will open. Breaks 4 less talks the talk, but did not walk the walk.

Will never go there again they tried to rip me off, months later they tried to rip off my girl friend with another BS excuse. They never even looked at her car, just told what she would need and have to pay for. The advertised price is a joke, the staff that was there today came off as rude and seems like i was bothering them for asking to look at my brakes.



They claimed that my rotors could not be resurface due to rust. Price when from $139 to $300+ Took my car that same day to Pepboys they resurfaced my rotors and said that rust had no effect because it gets ground off during the resurfacing. Paid pep boys $140 for a job well done. (went to pep boys on tryon)



For my girlfriend who went there today November 19th 2014 @ 4:30 they never once looked at her car. because she mentioned she heard a grinding sound they said that she would need brand new rotors and new calipers and tried to charge her $400+. She asked how they know that when THEY NEVER EVEN LOOKED AT HER CAR. The mechanic began speaking fast and in slang and became rude. so she left and went to a pep boys right up the street on South Blvd.



The mechanics at south blvd pep boys resurfaced her rotors and said that her calipers were perfectly fine.



DO NOT GO TO BRAKES FOR LESS!! They will tray to sell you things you don't need! I let it go when it happened to me thinking eh maybe it as just a mistake. NOPE! they tried to pull the same bull on my GF!



Again do not go there! get a second opinion you will save yourself a couple hundred bucks! Crooks...

This is my go-to mechanic for every car in our household. He s done work on both of my parent s Tundras, my girlfriend s Corolla, my truck and my Maxima.



Ive been completely happy with the service and it is at a very fair price. I hope this shop is around for as long as I am because I wont be going anywhere else for brakes.

A terrible experience with another mechanic reminded me of the pleasant one I had here. So I'll write my review.



Several months back I came here for some brake work.



The mechanic took a look at them and then said the pads were almost completely worn down (metal on metal) and the roters were grooved. Im no expert, but I do know enough about cars to tell if I am being scammed, so I asked if I could see them and he said Sure. Let me actually look at the pads they had taken off and the roters and sure enough they were in really bad shape. I asked about the drums and he said We CAN replace them, but there isnt a real NEED to at this point. Not too often you find a place that will say something like that.



I loved the honesty here. Very cool guys and for the work I opted to have done, the bill was awfully low. Since then, Im a repeat customer.

This place was recommended by a friend who used to be a full-time mechanic. I worked with Zach mainly. I loved that he would explain and talk through every issue both before and after his inspection. He helped me understand details about my issue so that I can be informed and make educated decisions about my car and my money. He kept me informed, came in well under other quotes, and did the job quickly. He was flexible and patient with me and didn't charge for some minor work that he could have easily charged for. Very honest. I've referred my other friends to him, and they've said the same. Good mechanics are hard to find, and these guys are my new mechanics. I see a great future for Brakes 4 Less if they continue to operate this way.

Awesome service, totally honest and saved me a heap of cash. When I bought my Subaru Outback Legacy used last summer I took it to a dealership and they gave me a laundry list of items I'd need to repair. The guys at All Brake and Lube re-evaluated and did the necessary repairs for about half the cost.

After a long search for someone I could trust with my car, I finally found Brakes 4 Less.



I'm always very suspicious of a lot of car places I've been to in the past (with reason) but I have felt comfortable bringing my car to Zach since the first time - and he's been very accommodating since I tend to call last minute :P

Gets the job done. I needed my brakes and rotors replaced, was quoted half as much as the dealer. Quick service, straight to the point, and no runaround. Bill is a good man. No BS, no frills, just work on the car and get me out.

One word...AWESOME!!!!!! No B.S., honest, to the point and my car was taken care of in a timely manner....fantastic. They were also willing to do a four-wheel brake job on my car for around $150... half of what anywhere else has ever charged me.

Great experience. I was quoted $400 just for parts at several other service stations (with total quotes coming to $500). Brakes 4 Less charged me $300 parts and labor--out the door with a 40% discount over the lowest competitor. Excellent experience overall. Great communication, super fast service and very honest.

I brought my Impala in to be serviced and have the brakepads worked on. Bill, the manager, was friendly and approachable, and seemed to make me a priority. The staff seemed to be hard-working guys, as well. Everything went well with the actual repair of the car, but the customer service was above par for me.

I'm really thrilled with this place... they went above and beyond, gave me a fair price that was a fraction of what others had quoted me, and seemed to be straightforward, honest guys.

AWESOME place to take your car. My head is still spinning from how low their fees are. Brakes totally redone for $88/axle? Can't beat it no matter who you call. Everything's under warranty too.
