Sure, rates are high. Not sure they are cheap anywhere. But the customer service has always been top notch! As someone who works in real estate, I really appreciate the personal attention that Bluegrass Energy provides!

I, for one, thoroughly enjoy doing business with

Blue Grass Energy. Their rates are higher because their customers are much more spread out than KU's. I have never experienced a so-called brown out but you fail to mention that the

other electric providers have them and surges to boot.

This company is no kentucky utilities. The company does not accept partial payments. They will turn off your service if your over 10 dollars short. Then bill you 75 dollars for reconnect. They will not work with customer on payment arrangements. They are 50% higher in cost than the average kentucky utilities bills. Terrible company overall for electric.

This company deserves a rating of two stars as they have almost dailey brown outs and high cost of service.
