General Info

All Breed Boarding & Grooming, Cats & Dogs, Norwegian Elkhounds Puppies & Stud Service! Our cattery is located in the upper kennel. Cats, dogs with special needs, grooming dogs, & the owners' Elkhounds are kept here. The cage sizes vary. There are smaller upper cages for cats and small grooming dogs and larger lower cages for larger grooming dogs & on occasion multiple cats. The upper kennel is heated in the winter and is cooled by an air conditioner in the summer. For multiple dogs and larger breeds, we do have larger pens that are 9ft x 4.5ft. All outside runs have an over-hang that provides shade & shelter from bad weather. The lower kennel is heated in the winter. It is not air conditioned; however, there are fans that keep it quite cool in the summer. You can come & view the kennel during our hours of operation.Grooming:We do all breeds, dog & cat, grooming Monday thru Saturday. An appointment is necessary for grooming & should be made about a week in advance. Rates are different depending on the breed, how much work the grooming involves & how well the pet cooperates. Included in all grooming prices is the bath, brushing, clipping if needed or asked for, & nail cutting. For just nail cutting, we charge $5.00. If all you need is your pets' nails cut, you can call up the morning you'd like to have them done to see if somebody will be around to cut them. All runs are 25 feet long, some are gravel and some are cement. We are currently putting in about a dozen new cement runs. The outside runs are connected to a 4.5 ft x 4.5 ft pen on the inside.
