I was actually an employee of a better roofing company and I must say it was a terrible experience. He treats his employees badly by being a bully. He tears employees down. I explained to jack when I first started that I had some experience with roofing and told him in detail the experience I had. He explained that he would teach me what I needed to know. At first it was great and he was teaching me as he said he would. Then he started telling me that I would never make it in roofing. He would blow me off when I would call him. I would show to work every day on time and would have to sit for three hours at a time on many occasions just to wait for him to get out of bed. I believe this is bad for business. I also believe that he started treating me badly because he had a customer give him a bad review. He looked for ways to blame me for him being behind but I truly believe it was because he puts other things before his business. If you are thinking of working for jack osgoode please please think again. And if you are considering using this company for your own roofing needs I would like to Highly suggest that you go elsewhere because he is a procrastinator and it will take a while for him to get the job done. Plus I saw him use rotten wood in different spots on one customers metal roof. I think it might be for the best that I go inform that customer.
