Really deserves 0 stars. ER visit was awful. I asked the desk if you had to die in the waiting room before u could see a doctor. Waited 3 1/2 hrs with husband in pain. Others had been there 5 hours. Triage nurse said it went to hell with Obamacare cause now they have to handle it all differently.

E.R. visit

This was the most uncleaned hospital that I have ever been in, from the waiting room with dust and crumbs between the chairs, to the room having flies on the walls and floors. The staff was unattended to the patients. In my case my mother was told by one doctor that she be right back after looking at X-rays she took when we first got back to the triage area, then was told by a nurse that they were waiting on test. No one checked on her, not even for a drink of water.

If you go for anything other than the E.R. you should be just fine but BEWARE OF E.R. They don't check on you & you could be dead before they knew cause my husband pulled all wires off with alarms going off & nothing, I called for nurse 3 times & nothing., Only time we saw her other than her check in at shift change was to tell us we would have a room in about 30 mins after the previous nurse said we would be admitted & in a room at 6pm. from 3pm to after 8pm he only got iv antibiotic that they let run out & blood started running back in the iv. I believe the nurse was SARAH (not sure) worked 2/15/2013 room 9 & no not ashamed for her knowing who I am because I don't like ANYONE calling me a liar when I have proof, When she was questioned by other family members she flat out lied to them about coming & checking on us. When I confronted her then she says well i have 2 other patients. Ok so why didn't you say that & not say you were just in there making me look like a liar. I am normally the one that tries to be understanding but this nurse was just out & out a Beeeeeeeeeep!!!!!! Odd she walked in with a paper for us to sign to leave without dr orders. Wonder what made her think we wanted to leave? Wonder if this is her regular routine? I wouldn't send my dog there. The icu & ccu & surgery , recovery. VERY nice. Camelle I believe is how you spell that in the recovery room was AWSOME!!!!! Why can't there be more like her? She needs a promotion & "sarah" (e.r. nurse) needs the boot. (p.s. Josh in e.r. was ok ) signed, PISSED WIFE OF E.R. VICTIM!!!!

Not exactly the real thing

This is more of a Starbucks franchise than a corporate store, and as such, the employees don't make the drinks quite the same and you might find retail items you might not find in other Starbucks stores.

Weight-Loss Surgery: Is It for You?

General Info
Baptist Health has been designated a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence by the American Society for Bariatric Surgery. For most people, a combination of diet and exercise is the best way to lose weight. However, if you've tried everything and still can't shed excess pounds or keep them off, you may want to consider weight-loss surgery. Surgery is an aid to dieting and assists individuals in altering their eating habits by restricting food intake or limiting absorption of ingested food. These procedures assist a patient in reducing food and caloric intake. Each procedure is associated with medical risks and vary in the anticipated chance of success in losing weight. What Surgical Options Are Available? Weight-loss surgery is also called bariatric or gastrointestinal surgery. The treatment is an important health option for some people with severe obesity-those who are 100 pounds more than their ideal weight. Your doctor may also recommend the operation if you suffer from a weight-related health problem, such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, or high blood pressure, degenerative joint disease or obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
