We have over 15 years combined experience with educated certified arborist and horticulturists on our staff so that we can provide you with the best service possible. We are members of the International Society of Arborculture (ISA) and the Central Virginia Nursery and Landscape Association (CVNLA). We are here to take care of your trees and the environment. Tree Management: Arborscapes Tree Management program is established to enhance the beauty, safety, and longevity of your property. We are certified arborists and horticulturalists who have been trained to evaluate your trees and to educate and assist you with your tree care needs. Proper tree care is an investment that can lead to substantial returns. Well cared for trees are attractive and can add considerable value to your property. Poorly maintained trees can be a significant liability. Plant Health Care: Arborscapes' Plant Health Care Program is one that differs from most companies. We begin by inspecting your property to determine the level of care needed. By first taking a cultural approach and addressing problems with pruning, water amounts, mulching, and light requirements, we can address many of the primary problems that are most often overlooked. We do not believe in applying chemicals without a specific reason. By abiding to the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) standards and first addressing your cultural situation, we will avoid unnecessary use of chemicals. Construction Preservation: Arborscapes Construction Preservation deals with often overlooked damage that occurs during construction. Understanding the value of existing trees we work with architects and contractors to ensure that the minimum damage occurs to your trees during construction. We work with architects and negotiate building placement based on key trees and views. We work with utility companies to negotiate utility placement as well as installation practices. We work closely with contractors to educate, define boundaries, and establish materials staging locations.
