Angela Lucia is the owner and photographer at A Lucia Photography. Meet Angela: I have loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember, and took my first class when I was about 14 yrs old. I carried a camera, and several rolls of film, through the halls of my high school. I loved the creative freedom it gave me and truly enjoyed watching the end result jump off the page, as it rested in the tub of liquid. With just the touch of a button, and the click of the shutter, the moments were frozen. As years passed, I began to challenge myself to capture the exact expression that made each photograph so special. Though I continued taking photographs, my reality was telling me that I had to get a 'real job' to help support my family. I did. Then, after spending ten years in a cubicle, I remembered how much I enjoyed making my snapshot memories and knew that there was more for me than ringing phones, sales quotas, and deadlines. My daughter was quickly approaching her teen years and, while I was as present as I could've been, I felt strongly about making myself more available to her. With my husband's complete support, I began my journey and accepted photography as my passion and talent. I have so much to be grateful for and I knew that my love for people, combined with my ability to capture them in candid images, was something that would bring me great happiness. I have been so blessed to have surrounded myself with clients who have welcomed me into their lives to capture the growth of their families through my camera lens. Q&A: Where is your studio? I am an on-location photographer and specialize in families, children, babies, bellies, and bridal. I cover the entire Central Florida and surrounding areas.
