I used American Van Lines in June 2017 to move from Florida to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Their employees were outstanding, Marcus Alcegaire helped with the scheduling of pickup and delivery and Patrick and his team collected my large household and delivered it ...all went beyond the expected
levels of professionalism and kindness. There are not enough words to express my thankfulness for all they did for me. I feel very blessed to have found and chosen this company to help me move.

Even though I didn't end up using their service because a friend (who does packing and moving for a living) came through for me to do the move, I would recommend this company. I received terrific customer service from Perissa, who also was very upfront with me about costs, needs, and the extras so that there would be no surprises. She gave me the best BEST deal I could find (and I called over 8 companies), and she was patient through the wait to see if my friend would be able to do it. Also, since it was a sudden move due to a medical issue, it was very stressful working out all the details. But Perissa at American gave me the absolute best price (more than $800+ less than the other companies), knowing the costs upfront, for a 1,000 mile move. She even looked the address up online to make sure the truck would fit or if a shuttle, or any extra charge for long walk haul would be added--she wanted to make sure I had all the 'surprise' fees upfront--and it was STILL lower than ALL the other companies, especially when I asked them about those special 'hidden' fees!!! American is the one I will call in the future (as the friend will then be a 1,000 miles away). It was a rare circumstance to have a friend do it.

This is my third move with American Van Lines. I had a multi-faceted move that was handled efficiently and easy for me. I did not have to worry about the job getting done. They handled every aspect making my time free to setup cable and utilities on the same day of the move. I could not have done that without American Van Lines expertise. The movers were very friendly but worked very fast and didn't waste any time getting everything packed up properly and protected properly. I did have to have my household belongings stored for a couple of months and when I finally found an apartment and everything was redelivered it was the same guys that had moved me to begin with and they did the same great, fast, careful job like ey had done originally.

I'm extremely satisfied with the whole process and would use American Van Lines again for my next move, no question, I wouldn't even consider anybody else.

American Van Lines handled my move from Miami to West Palm Bech in a perfect way. I'm very content with my choice of a moving company and will use them again.

Why didn’t anyone tell me that moving was so great? When my mother first told me that we were moving to Orlando, I was not looking forward to spending weeks packing and moving boxes back and forth. She mentioned that she was not up to task so I suggested that we use professional movers. Since she doesn’t speak much English she left me with the task of finding suitable movers to me. I had called several moving companies but most of them sounded exactly the same, giving short explanations for preset moving services. When I finally called American Van Lines, I found that their services were a lot more affordable than the others were. The person I spoke with was very patient, explaining the entire process to me in detail. They sent nice movers to our house who managed to move everything quickly and I did not even have to stick around to help with the packing. I was able to say goodbye to all of my friends and my mother said that the movers where very careful with everything.
